Somerset is the most enchanting of all the counties.

Meadows and orchards and verdant fields in endless shades of green roll into the horizon. High hedgerows filled with cow-parsley and primroses hide the watery silver of the levels.

It is a county of mysticism, of kings and queens, magicians and superstition – she has stirred the soul since the legends of Arthur began.

Bruton

Dig around in our happening Somerset town and you’ll be gloriously rewarded. There’s loads to do and numerous places to mooch about in locally (and nearby).

The town gets a mention in the Domesday book (1086) and there are old and interesting places around every corner… and on top of a hill!

Bruton’s fortunes have ebbed and flowed over the decades but right now it’s in its prime. It’s quirky, creative and really rather surprising.

We think you’ll like it.
