We are delighted to partner with Osip a tiny, farm-to-table restaurant that finds its home in the old ironmonger’s shop at Number One.
Simplicity, imagination and lack of pretension define the cuisine, as well as total dedication to low food mileage.
Breakfast for our guests is very special – an abundant farmhouse feast with lashings of fresh coffee and tea, organic milk, creamy rice pudding, granola, yoghurt, warm bread, freshly baked brioche, soft boiled eggs, homemade jams, tarts, local cheese, ham and juices. It is served daily from 8:00 – 10:00am (earlier on request).
Osip. work with a small but perfectly formed group of local farmers, growers, hunters and gatherers to put together lunch and supper menus that reflect the very best of Somerset. By the spring of 2020 they hope to be growing their own vegetables, herbs and fruit for their little dining room on land just a few miles from Bruton.
Please note that during lunch and dinner service the restaurant is open to the general public.
Hotel guests are required to reserve a table well in advance to avoid disappointment.
